Tony was bad at this,and he knew it. He couldn't speak emotionally. He'd never been capable of it. All he wanted now was to keep Arthur close and not feel at a loss. He wanted not to think about dying, about falling to his death and not having told Arthur how he felt. He took a deep breath.
"Good. I want you here. We need to talk," he murmured, trying to get himself just to say it.
"So... I'm not saying this for any reason, except what happened and it made me realize I felt this way and that if I died... that's why I was calling you, to say this." Yep, he was nervous and not sure. "You know what I'm trying to say, right?"
